Why can't I purge customers?

Cause
Resolution
A customer will not purge if one of the following is true:

  • The customer is active.
  • The customer is used on any of the following transactions that have not been purged:
    • Quotes
    • Sales Orders
    • Credit Memos
    • Receipts
    • Payments
    • Customer Refunds
    • Time and Expense Tickets (Sage 50 Complete Accounting and higher only)
  • The customer is used on any of the following memorized transactions:
    • Quotes
    • Sales Invoices The customer is used on any job that has not been purged.
