- Add the Common Files Folder to the Trusted Sites
- Go open blank Excel file
- Click on File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Locations > Add new location > --> Browse to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files'
- Click on OK
- Click on 'Subfolders of this location are also trusted'
- Click on OK
- Verify if the "Report Designer Add-In (Custom Task Pane Helper)" is enabled
- Open Excel > Options > Add-Ins.
- "Report Designer Add-in 1.2.0"
- Type="Excel Add in", and
- "Report Designer Add-in 1.2.0 (Custom Task Pane Helper)".
- Type="COM Add-in"

8. If the Report Designer Add-in 1.2.0 and the Report Designer Add-in 1.2.0 (Custom Task Pane Helper) are not showing in the Active Application Add-ins list, check to see if they are disabled.
9. Scroll down to the bottom of the Add-ins panel and see if they listed in the Disabled Application Add-ins section. If they are disabled, then scroll to the bottom of the screen to the Manage section and select Disabled Items and click Go. Then re-enable them.

10. If they are not disabled, scroll to the bottom of the screen to the Manage section and Select Excel Add-ins from the Manage drop down list and click Go.

11. If the Report Designer Add-in 1.0 is listed, check the box.
12. If the Report Designer Add-in 1.0 is not listed, click Go at the bottom of the window to Manage Excel add-ins, then push browse and browse to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\BIExcelFunctions. Select either 32bit or 64bit (depending on what version they are running) then select Sage.BI.ExcelFunctions.dll and click OK
Note: when the Report Designer Add-in 1.0.0 is selected the Report Designer Add-In 1.0.0 (Custom Task Pane Helper) should be dynamically selected. If it is not listed, click COM Add-ins from the Manage drop down and click Go and If Report Designer Add-In 1.0.0 (Custom Task Pane Helper) is on the list check the box


13. Close Excel and go back to Sage Intelligence/ Reports/ Report Manager and run the report again.
