If you're sharing the data with multiple users, only one user has to perform the data conversion. In a network environment, we recommend performing the conversion on the server.

1. Open Sage 50.
2.  Click Open an existing company, select your company and click OK. 
   •  NOTE: If your data isn’t on this computer, restore a backup as a New Company.
3. The Data Conversion Wizard—Introduction window will appear; click Next.
4. Confirm the company to convert, and click Next.
5. In the Back Up Existing Company Information window, click the Back Up button and then click Save.
6. Once you’ve saved your backup, click the Next button.
7. Data conversion will start. Don't interrupt the process. 
8. Once the conversion is complete, the "Conversion Completed" window will appear. Click Finish.
