| How to run the Inventory / Journal synchronization test |

Note: Always make a Backup of your data and give it a unique file name. Do not overwrite a previous backup. - Change to accounting period 1 in the company. Refer to How do I change the accounting period?.
- Open the Integrity Check:
- Select Help, Support Utilities, and select Integrity Check.
- Click Continue only if you have successfully created a backup; otherwise click Backup.
- In the File Tests box, select Reindex Files, select Chart on the Reindex File List, and then click OK.
- When finished, open Integrity Check again, and then click Continue.
- In the File Tests box, select Reindex Files, select Line Item on the Reindex File List, and then click OK.
- When finished, open Integrity Check again, and then click Continue.
- In the File Tests box, select Reindex Files, select Jrnl Header on the Reindex File List, and then click OK.
- When finished, open Integrity Check again, and then click Continue.
- In the File Tests box, select Reindex Files, select Jrnl Rows on the Reindex File List, and then click OK.
- When finished, open Integrity Check again, and then click Continue.
- Select the box titled Inventory/Journal in the Data Synchronization Tests box.
- Click OK.
Note: The Inventory / Journal Synchronization test performs many of the other integrity tests as well as unposts and reposts the journals. Depending on the size of the company data, this test can take several hours. If this test will be run unattended, clear the box Pause when error detected.
