How to create a manual or On-Demand backup in Sage 100 Contractor SQL

Resolution
  1. Connect to Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor.
  2. From the menu on the left, select Tune Up / Back Up / Restore
  3. Select Back Up Companies. The right panel will display a listing of all company databases.
  4. Select the box for each company database you want to back up.
  5. Under Enter the location for the backup files: the default location is C:\Sage100Con\Backup\On Demand. You can change this location if desired. Sage recommends that you use the default location.
  6. Click Create Backup. Status messages, indicating the status of the backup process, will display at the bottom left of the window.
