How to create a manual company backup

Cause
Resolution
  1. Connect to Database Administration with Administrator rights.
  2. Select Tune Up / Back Up / Restore.
  3. Select Back Up Companies.
  4. A listing of all company databases appears on the right.
  5. Select the box for each company database you want to back up.
  6. Note the file path under Enter the location for the backup files.
     NOTE: The default location is C:\Sage100Con\Backup\On Demand. You can change this to any external or internal drive location by selecting the appropriate drive letter  
  7. Click Create Backup.
     NOTE: Status messages display at the bottom of the window.
