Resolution

To correct the Job cost phase on an item in the spreadsheet:

  1. Launch Sage Estimating
  2. Open the estimate (File \ Open estimate)
  3. Select a spreadsheet layout that has the Job Cost Phase codes and categories columns visible (see “Related resources” for a Knowledgebase article that can help)
  4. On the spreadsheet click in the right side of the cell you want to change
  5. Highlight the correct cost code
  6. Click OK

Note: This Resolution will correct the Cost Code on the estimate, but the incorrect Cost Code can be on the item that came from the Database. If that was the case the incorrect Cost Code will need to be changed.
