Description | The 5-1-8-91 Absence Hours and Wages Report uses employee wages subject to Workers' Compensation to represent the employee's total gross wages. If you require a version of the report that incorporates wages not subject to Worker's Compensation into the employee's total gross wages, follow the steps in the Resolution below. |
Resolution | - Open the 5-1-8 Hours Report. Select report 91. Click Modify Report
- In the Report Title field, edit the title by typing "All Hours" at the end of the report title.
- In the report, delete the << Comp Gross >> field from the Detail, Subtotal 2, Subtotal 1, and Total band lines.
- In the report where the << Comp Gross >> field formerly resided, click once to add a text box; then right-click in the text box and select Insert Field
- In the Insert a Field window, navigate to the Calculated Fields section at the bottom. Scroll downward to select tmcdln^grswge (Gross Wage) and double-click it.
- Repeat Step 5 above to place the tmcdln^grswge field in the Gross Wage column on the Detail, Subtotal 2, Subtotal 1, and Total band lines of the report.
- After all 4 fields have been added, right-click on each, select Properties, and do the following:
- In the Top box, change the value to 3
- In the Left box, change the value to 614
- Select Bold in the font section
- Change the Format to ###,###,##0.00 (directly under Auto)
- Change the Alignment to Right
- Change the Characters to 15
- Click OK
- Click File, Save
- In the File Name field, change the last 2 numbers to 19 (05010819)
- Select Save as a shared report that anybody can use
- Click Save. Close the 13-3 Report Writer window.
- Report number 19 will be displayed in the report list and will incorporate the employee's wages that are not subject to Worker's Compensation Insurance into the employee's gross wage total.
