Assembly Takeoff
From the Takeoff group on the Takeoff tab, click Assembly.
Select an assembly and take it off.
Optional: Change the assembly description in the variable pane.
Enter or calculate a takeoff quantity for the assembly. You can use formulas, the calculator, or adjust assembly productivity.
NOTE:
If you have formulas assigned in your assemblies, Estimating displays the variables (dimensions and specs) for them in the variable pane.
When you are ready to generate the assembly to the spreadsheet, click [OK] in the Assembly Takeoff window.
