Resolution |
The Visual Integrator application module can be used to import new records and change existing records in select Sage 100 data tables (not all files may be imported into, and that is by design). However, Visual Integrator cannot be used to remove or delete records.
Possible Workaround:
There may be some possible workarounds from some records.
- Records in data entry files can be manually removed.
- Example: Line items and orders may be deleted in Sales Order, Main menu, Sales Order Entry
- Customers, Vendors, and Item Codes can be manually removed, or removed en masse via utility.
- Example: Customers may be deleted in Accounts Receivable, Main menu, Customer Maintenance
- Example: Customers may also be deleted in Accounts Receivable, Utilities menu, Delete and Change Customers
- Some historical records may be purged en masse via utility.
- Example: Some Sales Order sales history may be purged via Sales Order, Utilities menu, Purge Sales History
- Example: Some Accounts Payable invoice/payment history may be removed via Accounts Receivable, Utilities menu, Purge Accounts Payable History
