Sage BusinessWorks 2021 and higher includes a Service option for emailing. Set this option to the correct setting before sending an email.

To check your Outlook version in Outlook select File, Office Account, About Outlook.

  • 32-bit Microsoft Outlook: Select ISG MAPI
  • 64-bit Microsoft Outlook: Select Outlook

Selecting the wrong service and attempting to email will display an error. To resolve this, exit the item you're emailing and try again. If the issue persists, reopen both Outlook and BusinessWorks and try again.

 NOTE: Sage BusinessWorks supports local installations of MAPI-compliant email programs like Outlook. It doesn’t support or test other email services beyond ISG MAPI and Outlook.
