| How do I increase my available user licenses? |
Resolution | - Have everyone log out of Sage 50.
- If using Remote Data Access(RDA) you will need do steps 3-8 on all PC's that are connecting to RDA
- Do not have the data open while doing this process!
- Open Sage 50 on the server
- Cancel out of any prompts to open company data, where you only see the 3 basic options, Open an Existing Company, Connect to a Shared Company, and Create a New Company
- Select Help, and then Sage 50 Activation, Licensing, and Subscription Options.
- Select Change your current version.
- Click OK.
- In the Serial number field, enter the new serial number that was received.
- Click OK.
- Verify Sage 50 activates successfully. Refer to How do I know if Sage 50—U.S. Edition is activated? for steps to verify activation.
- If the program is installed on the workstation; open and select Help, About Sage 50 Accounting: verify the Serial Number. The serial number may have updated automatically to match the server; if not, repeat Steps 3-8 on the workstation.
