Rename a database used in Timeslips Premium and 2017+

Follow these steps to rename the database on the server

Start Timeslips Administrator on the database server.
Click View Network Databases.
Click the hyper-linked path to open the database location.

NOTE:

If the path isn’t clickable, you aren't on the database server. Or, you’re using an IP address.
Rename the database using the Windows rename function.
CAUTION:

Don’t use MAIN.FDB for a network database. Use MAINDB.FDB instead.
Click Refresh to view the new filename.
Select the new database name, highlight it, and click Register Database.
Select the old database name, highlight it, and click Unregister Database.
Click Done.
