This estimate security prevents unauthorized access to your estimates and other Sage Estimating features by requiring you to define a list of authorized operators and their individual task or feature permissions.

If desired, you can turn off estimate security.

1. Click [Security] at the top of the Estimating Management Console.
2. Right-click the estimate database in the Catalog pane (left-hand pane).
3. Select Turn security off.

Note: Turning off estimate security allows all Sage Estimating operators to access all Sage Estimating estimates and features. You can turn on estimate security again at any time by right-clicking the estimate database in the Catalog pane, and then selecting Turn security on.
