- On the machine designated as your license server, open the License Administration window.
Click Start > All Apps > Sage Estimating > License Administration.
- Check that computer named in the License server box is the designated license server.
If License Administration is not pointing to the correct server, click Change server, and then enter the correct computer name or IP address of your license server.
- In the Registration Information section, submit your registration details as follows:
- Click the Edit registration information link.
- In the Sage client ID box, type your client number.
- In the Registration name box, type your registered company name exactly as provided by Sage.
- Click [OK]
If the activation was successful, the Licensed Modules grid displays the modules and number of uses that you have purchased. Your license server is now ready to serve licenses to your Sage Estimating (SQL) users.

To activate your license on a Standalone setup:
- On the Standalone machine you can open the Configuration Wizard or Sage Estimating (the first time you launch Sage Estimating the Configuration Wizard will open first)
Click Start > All Apps > Sage Estimating > Configuration Wizard.

Click Start > All Apps > Sage Estimating > Sage Estimating
- Check that computer named in the License server box is the designated license server.
If Configuration Wizard is not pointing to the Standalone computer click Change server, and then enter the correct computer name or IP address or localhost.
- In the Registration Information section, submit your registration details as follows:
- Click the Edit registration information link.
- In the Sage client ID box, type your client number.
- In the Registration name box, type your registered company name exactly as provided by Sage.
- Click [OK]
