Note: Locate the PeachtreeXXX.ini file based on your release below.
- Release 2024 = peachtree310.ini
- Release 2023 = peachtree300.ini
- Release 2022 = peachtree290.ini
- Release 2021 = peachtree280.ini
- Release 2020 = peachtree270.ini
- Release 2019 = peachtree260.ini
- Release 2018 = peachtree250.ini
- Release 2017 = peachtree240.ini
Enable hidden files: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files Section 1: For Release 2019 and higher - Press the Windows key+R to open a Run line.
- Type C:\ProgramData\Sage\Peachtree and press Enter.
- Open the PeachtreeXXX.ini file (where XXX is the latest release number).
- Update the DATAPATH= to the desired directory path.
- Select File, Save, and close the INI file.
If you are using 2021 or higher version of Sage 50 US edition you can also try the following: - Instead of updating the DATAPATH= to the new mapped directory you can enter a UNC path
- e.g., DATAPATH=Z:\company\ could be \\SERVERNAME\peachtree\company\
(if SERVERNAME was the name of the server with a network share name of peachtree)
Section 2: 64-bit machines (for Releases 2018 and prior) - Open C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Peach and open PeachtreeXXX.ini.
- Update the DATAPATH= to the desired directory path.
- Select File, Save, and close the INI file.
Section 3: 32-bit machines (for Releases 2018 and prior) - Open folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Peach and open PeachtreeXXX.ini.
- Update the DATAPATH= to the desired directory path.
- Select File, Save, and close the INI file.
