Description

Cause

The Sage 100 Contractor SQL Hosting Framework service isn't running.

Resolution

Right-click on the Windows Start menu.
Select Run and type "services.msc" (without the quotes).
Locate the service named Sage 100 Contractor SQL Hosting Framework.
Right-click the service and select Start.
If Start isn't available or the service can’t be started, proceed to the next step.
Restart the computer and install pending Windows updates.
Restart the computer after installing Windows updates.
Repeat steps 1-4.
Verify the Sage 100 Contractor SQL Hosting Framework service is "Running".
Connect to Sage 100 Contractor.
