Email authentication support in Sage 100
Sage 100 2021 and Sage 100 2022 support both Basic Authentication and OAuth Authentication when connecting to SMTP mail servers.
Microsoft's removal of Basic Authentication affects email configurations that still rely on Basic Authentication. Users who send emails through Paperless Office must use OAuth Authentication when their SMTP provider requires it.
Upgrade requirements
Users running older Sage 100 versions that support only Basic Authentication need to upgrade to a Sage 100 version that supports OAuth Authentication.
After upgrading, users can configure OAuth Authentication for their SMTP mail server and continue sending emails through Paperless Office.
NOTE:
Email delivery depends on using a supported authentication method accepted by the SMTP provider.
