| Resolution | | [BCB:5:Third-party support:ECB]
NOTE: Sage Dashboard and Sage Contact retired effective November 15, 2022. As of this date, only Cloud Backup is available for Microsoft 365 integration.
- Once your Microsoft 365 order is complete, we will send you an email to review the Microsoft Cloud Agreement. The email will go to your email on file. The sender of the email is Sage Solutions Admin at [email protected].
- In the body of the email, click the blue Review agreement button.
- Your default web browser will launch with a form prompting for First and Last name, Email address, and Phone number. If we have this information on file already, it will be pre-filled. Fill in any information that is missing or incorrect.
- Click the blue hyperlink for Microsoft Cloud Agreement to download the PDF file for the agreement.
- Once you've read the agreement, check the check box I agree to the Microsoft Cloud Agreement, then click Confirm.
- A confirmation message will appear to let you know that we're creating your Microsoft 365 subscription. The message also mentions it can take up to 48 hours to complete, but you should normally receive the welcome email in a few minutes.
- The sender of the invite email is Sage Solutions Admin; the sender's email address is [email protected]. This email will have the username and temporary password to the Administrator account for your Microsoft 365 subscription.
- Once you have the email, read the Confirm Sage Access information and click the green Confirm Access button to take you to the Microsoft Sign-in page. Enter the Administrator account from the Confirm Access email and click the blue Next button.
- On the Enter password page, enter the Temporary password from the Confirm Access email, then click the blue Sign in button.
- On the Update your password page, enter the Temporary password in the current password slot, then enter a new password in the next two slots, then click the blue Sign in button.
- Note: Your new password cannot contain your user ID; it needs to be at least 8 characters long with at least three of the following:
- uppercase letters
- lowercase letters
- numbers
- symbols
- On the Sage Business Center page, click the Accept button at the bottom right.
- The next window will be labeled Step 1. Agreements and Permissions. Click the blue Accept button at the bottom right.
- The next window is labeled Step 2. Connect Sage 50 with Microsoft 365. Select the checkbox "I'll sync Sage 50c data later", then click the blue Finish button.
- The next window is the Sage Business Center. In the lower right is an option to Bookmark this page, which we recommend. You may need to return to this page to specify rights for add-ins after you add users, but for initial setup, click the Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center link under Step 1 in the Manage Users section on this window.
- Once on the Microsoft 365 Admin center window, close the Welcome to Microsoft 365 admin center pop up.
- Click the Microsoft 365 header or the Office app launcher in the upper left (the square with the 9 tiny white squares in the middle), and then click the OneDrive icon or tile.
- You should either get a window that states that OneDrive is getting prepared, or the OneDrive interface should show as ready. Once the OneDrive interface is ready to upload files, Microsoft 365 is prepared to accept the integration with Sage 50.
- If you would like to set up the Cloud backups now, follow the steps in How do I use the Microsoft 365 feature Cloud Backup?
- If you have multiple users for Microsoft 365 and need to add additional users and license them, follow How to create new users in Microsoft 365.
