| | How to adjust the last unit cost of an inventory item |
| Resolution | - Go to Tasks > Inventory Adjustments.
- Choose an item with an incorrect Cost.
- Adjust the item Quantity to 0 (for example: if there’s 20 on hand, enter an adjustment of -20).
- If the item is already at 0, the cost will update the next time you purchase the item
- Click Save.
- Enter another adjustment for the same item dated the next day, increasing the quantity to the original amount.
- Enter the proper unit cost for this item and click Save.
- Perform the above for every item that has an incorrect cost
- Verify that the items now have the proper cost.
NOTE: You can change the last unit cost on the maintenance record itself until it’s purchased or added as an inventory adjustment. [BCB:161:Chat 50 US:ECB] |
