To manually post or unpost journals, the company's posting method must be set to either Batch or Smartposting.

The following  steps to change the company's posting method must be done while being logged in as the only user.

1. Click the Maintain menu and select Company Information.
2. Click the arrow button next to Posting method and select Batch or Smart Posting and click OK.
3. Click OK again on the Maintain Company Information window.
4. Go to Tasks, System and change the accounting period to Period 1.
5. Go to Tasks, System, Unpost
6. Select OK
7. All journals will begin to unpost.
