Assign payroll tax fields to the W-2 form

Cause
Resolution
  1. Go to Maintain, Payroll, Payroll Settings.
  2. Select Taxes and then Assign TaxFields.
  3. Click W-2 Fields.
    • To assign payroll fields to the main tax and benefits fields and for W-2 Box 14: Other: Select the drop-down arrow next to the field and then select the desired payroll field from the drop-down list to assign it to the W2
    • To assign payroll fields to W-2 Box 12: Select the drop-down arrow next to Field and then select the desired payroll field from the drop-down list to assign it to the W-2. Then select the corresponding drop-down list in the Use Code... column to assign the appropriate code for the Box 12 payroll field
  4. Click OK and then click Finish.
