How to tell if you are logged in with administrator rights
Description

In order to install applications in Windows and do other administrative tasks you need to have administrator rights (privileges) on your computer.

  1. Right-click the Windows Start button and select Run.
  2. In the Open field of the Run window, type control userpasswords2, then select OK.
  3. If the user has Local Administrator rights, you will see a window displaying the list of authorized Windows users.
