1. Open Sage 50.
2. Select Help, About Sage 50 Accounting.
3. The Release will show the version, such as Sage 50 Premium Accounting 2026. Build will show the specific numeric build number, including updates.
   • For example, the most current build for Sage 50 US 2026 is 33.0.00.0082
   • Sage 50 Cloud (hosted product) will include "HostedSage50US"

If the program won’t open, you can check the version displayed on the shortcut. In the instance that the shortcut is missing or doesn’t display the version number, follow these steps:

1. Click the Start button and in the Search box type appwiz.cpl and press Enter.
2. In Programs and Features, look for your installed Sage 50 Accounting product.
