NOTE: Except for the RM and RH methods, the Tax Methods convention will vary depending on the asset's critical depreciation values. These include Property Type, Placed-in-Service Date, and Life of the asset as you entered into the Sage Fixed Assets program. For Example, MF100 will typically calculate a half-month of depreciation in its first and last month. If the life is less than 20 years the convention changes to half-year. GAAP Methods - SL - Straight-line, Mid-month convention
- SF - Straight-line, Full-month convention
- SB - Straight-line, Full-month convention + 168(k) allowance
- SH - Straight-line, Half-year convention
- SD - Straight-line, modified Half-year convention
- DB - Declining-balance (125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%) switch to SL when optimal
- DC - Declining-balance (125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%) no switch to SL
- DD - Declining-balance (125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%) modified half-year, switch to SL when optimal
- DH - Declining-balance (125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%) Half-year, switch to SL when optimal
- DE - Declining-balance (125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%) modified Half-year, no switch to SL
- DI - Declining-balance (125%, 150%, 175%, and 200%) Half-year, no switch to SL
- YS - Sum-of-the-years'-digits, Mid-month
