File Tools did not back up all my files

Cause
The folder option was set to hide file extensions for known file types
Resolution

Clear the option to hide file extensions for known file types:

  1. Start Windows Explorer.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Folder Options.
  3. Click the View tab.
  4. Clear the Hide file extensions for known file types check box.
  5. Click OK.
