Reprint the Quick Bill invoice report from the Reports menu
- In BL, Reports, select Quick Bill Invoices, Non Unit-based, Unit-based, or Bill Retainage.
- In the Data Selection window, under File, select BL Invoice (unbilled) if the invoice is not posted, or BL Invoice (billed) if the invoice is posted.
- Click OK.
- In the Print invoices with a status of box, select a status.
- Use the Ranges button to select the Customer that was invoiced.
- From the Customer Range Selection window select Invoices.
- Select Yes when message "Invoice conditions exist. Apply conditions to ranges?" displays.
- Select the invoice to reprint from the Invoice Range Selection window
- Click OK twice
- Click Preview or Start.
Notes:
- The Quick Bill invoice report that prints from the Reports menu may be different than the report that prints from the Enter Quick Bill task.
- To change the report that prints from the Reports menu, use the Reports Manager to select a new report.
- To change the report that prints from the Enter Quick Bill task, change the report in Billing settings (File, Company Settings, BL Settings, Journals/Forms).
- If you know the invoice number, you can replace steps 5-8 with adding a condition of "Invoice EQ xxx" (with xxx representing the invoice number).
- If the message "nothing to print" appears, the invoice type selected may be incorrect. Remove the condition "Invoice Form EQ xxx" and print preview again to see if that fixes the "nothing to print" message.
- If you do not know your invoice number, you can range on the customer and select the customer, then remove the condition "Invoice Form EQ xxx" and print preview the report to see all invoices for that Customer. Browse to the invoice to be reprinted and write down the invoice number and then close print preivew and add condition for invoice number or follow steps 5-8 above to select the individual invoice.
