    • Right-click the Windows Start button, and select Run
    • Browse to C:\Sage BusinessWorks 20xx Install Files\Sage BusinessWorks
    • Select Setup.exe
    • Add a space followed by /noprofile after the closing quotation mark
    • The path will resemble "C:\Sage BusinessWorks 20xx Install Files\Sage BusinessWorks\Setup.exe" /noprofile
    • Click OK to start the installation

Installing the client on a workstation

  1. Log in as the user mentioned in the error to install
  2. If you can't use that Windows account, reinstall using the /noprofile option
    • Right-click the Windows Start button, and select Run
    • Browse to ...\BWProg\Client Setup\Sage BusinessWorks\Setup.exe on the Sage BusinessWorks server
    • Add /noprofile to the end of the command
    • The path will resemble "\\[server name]\Sage\BWProg\Client Setup\Sage BusinessWorks\setup.exe" /noprofile
Example of the path that displays to run /noprofile.
    • Click OK to start the installation

NOTE:

If the message appears when using the /noprofile switch, you likely selected the wrong file. Run the /noprofile switch only with the setup.exe file located in the Sage BusinessWorks folder. Don't use the switch with autorun.exe. Check the path in the Run field to confirm it goes to setup.exe.
