What Control Accounts can I use in Property Management?

For more information about control accounts, refer to the various control account Help topics in General Ledger:
Cause

You can specify Control Account types in General Ledger as follows:

  1. Select File, Company Settings, GL Settings.
  2. Click Processing Options, mark the Use control account types check box, and click OK.
  3. Select Setup,Accounts.
  4. Choose an account, and then mark the Control account check box.
  5. In the Control Account Settings area, specify the Control Account type and the warning message setting.
Resolution

Property Management does not limit entry to Control Accounts except in Tax Rate Setup (Setup, Taxes,Tax Rates).

For accounts in Tax Rate Setup: Use an Other Control Acct or a non-control account.
