Custom Financial Reports are missing from General Ledger menu after upgrading
Description
Cause
Resolution
  1. Click on File, Run
  2. In the Program field, type *UNHIDEGL
  3. Click Ok

Note: This utility must be run each time Sage 100 is upgraded to a new version.

The following factors should be taken into consideration prior to running the utility:

  • Sage 100 must be on level 3.71 and the Custom Financials must be in the General Ledger module prior to migrating and converting to level 4.x or higher
  • The utility is not company specific.
  • The tasks can only be accessed if the account structure has nine (9) or fewer characters and three (3) or fewer segments. If Custom Financials exist for a company and the total size of the account number is increased to greater than nine characters and/or greater than three segments, they are no longer available.
  • After you unhide the Custom Financials menu, it cannot be re-hidden.

If reports are still missing after verifying points above are true, you can restore the Custom Financial Reports files from previous versions back up. Please see related article below.
