- Verify Crystal Reports Designer is installed on the workstation
- Verify the version of Crystal Reports is correct for the Sage 100 version you have installed. Sage 100 will only recognize Sage licensed editions of Crystal Reports:
- Sage 100 versions 2018 and 2019 use "SAP Crystal Reports 2016 for Sage"
- Sage 100 versions 2016 and 2017 use "SAP Crystal Reports 2011 for Sage"
- Retired Sage 100 versions 2013, 2014, and 2015 use "SAP Crystal Reports 2011 for Sage"
- Retired Sage 100 versions 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 use "SAP Crystal Reports 2011 for Sage"
- Retired Sage MAS 90 or 200 versions 4.40 and 4.50 use "Crystal Reports XI Release 2 for Sage"
- Verify Crystal Reports Designer is associated with .rpt files in Windows Folder Options and it is the default program for opening .rpt files.
- Note: If you are not familiar with how to do this, you may need the assistance of your network administrator or IT personnel.
- Verify permissions within Sage 100 for the User Logon:
- In Sage 100, Open Modules, Library Master, Main menu, Role Maintenance.
- Select the role from the Role list, or create a new role.
- Select the Module Options tab, open the Library Master folder, and select the "Allow Access to Crystal Designer" checkbox
- Click Accept
Note: If above steps do not resolve the issue, consider rebooting the workstation, then reinstall the appropriate version of Crystal Reports for Sage
