  • Verify you have Crystal Reports Designer installed on the workstation.
  • Verify the version of Crystal Reports is correct for the Sage 100 version you’ve installed. Sage 100 will only recognize Sage licensed editions of Crystal Reports:
  • Verify Crystal Reports Designer is associated with .rpt files in Windows Folder Options.
  • Verify Crystal Reports is the default program for opening .rpt files.
    • If you aren’t familiar with how to do this, get assistance from your network administrator.
    • Verify permissions within Sage 100 for the User Logon:
    • In Sage 100, Open Modules, Library Master, Main menu, Role Maintenance.
    • Select the role from the Role list, or create a new role.
    • Select the Module Options tab.
    • Open the Library Master folder.
    • Select the "Allow Access to Crystal Designer" checkbox.
    • Click Accept.
    • If the issue persists, reboot the workstation. Then reinstall the appropriate version of Crystal Reports for Sage.
