| How do I upgrade files in Service Management? |
Resolution |
- Instruct all operators to exit Service Management until the upgrade files process is complete.
- Log on to the server with these permissions:
- Network Administrator
- Timberline Accounting Unlimited (privileged operator)
- Use Windows Explorer to verify the correct location of your SMData folder (X:\Timberline Office\Accounting\your company data folder\SMData, where X represents the drive on which you installed the Timberline program files).
- Start Service Management.
- Click OK when a message appears stating that your files need to be upgraded.
- Your data is upgraded as usual.
