How to export reports from within Crystal Reports Designer

  1. Open the Crystal report from a workstation where Crystal Reports Designer is installed.
  2. From the main menu, select File, Print, Export.
  3. From the 'Format' drop down box, select a report definition.
    Note: It is not possible to set defaults format types when exporting reports because this information is controlled by the Crystal Reports DLL files.
  4. From the 'Destination' drop-down box, accept the default value and click 'OK'.
  5. Specify an output range in the 'Export Options' window and click 'OK'.
  6. In the 'Choose Export File' window, specify location where the report will be saved and click 'Save'.
