Error: "Failed to retrieve data from the database" when printing commitments in Job Cost or Project Management

Resolution
To update your Crystal report design, click the link below. To change the descriptions on the header of your purchase orders, follow the steps below.
  1. From the Job Cost Tasks or Project Management Contract Control menu, select Commitments.
  2. Enter a Purchase Order ID or select one from the List.
  3. Click Header and review the Misc fields. The default descriptions should read:
    • Ordered By
    • Terms
    • Ship Via
    • Free on Board
    • Misc Alpha 5
    • Delivery Date
    • Misc Date 2
    • Misc Date 3

    If the field descriptions do not match those listed above, click Change Desc to change the field descriptions.

  4. Click OK, then Save Commitment, then Close.
