| How to register Sage Intelligence product |
Resolution | Important Notes:- Only Sage 100 ERP Intelligence (SI) reports created in the same or lower version of Sage 100 Intelligence can be imported into another Sage Intelligence installation. Examples:
- Reports created in 2015 version will not generate correctly if imported into SI 5.1, 5.0, 4.50 or 4.40 versions
- Reports created in 2014 version will not generate correctly if imported into SI 5.0, 4.50 or 4.40 versions
- Reports created in 4.50 version will import into 4.50, 2013, 2014 and 2015 versions.
- SI reports created in Premium (SQL) version are not compatible with Non-SQL SI versions and vice versa
- If you have multiple versions of Sage 100 ERP & Sage Intelligence installed on the same machine, a NEW (separate) repository (share folder) must be created for EACH Sage Intelligence version. You can not use the same repository folder from a previous Sage Intelligence version.
- The compatible Sage 100 ERP version must be installed. Examples: (SI=Sage 100 ERP Intelligence)
- SI 5.0 = Sage 100 ERP 2013
- SI 5.0 SQL = Sage 100 ERP 2013 SQL
- SI 4.50 = Sage MAS 90/200 4.50
- SI 4.50 SQL = Sage MAS 200 SQL 4.50
- SI 1.00.0177 = Sage MAS 90/200 4.40
- For more information, please see Integrated Solutions Compatibility Matrices (ISCM) for Sage 100
NOTE: The workstation must be connected to the Internet to perform this action successfully. For Sage 100 ERP Intelligence 4.40, 4.50 and 2013: - Click Start, Programs, Sage, Sage 100 Intelligence, License Manager
- Continue to step #2 below
For Sage 100 ERP Intelligence 2014 and higher : - Launch Sage 100 ERP, open Sage Intelligence Reporting, Setup, License Manager
- If prompted, enter the UNC path to the Network Repository and click OK, for more information please see Related Article below, DocLink: How to Create a Repository in Sage 100 Intelligence. NOTE: If entering the repository path does not work, try closing Sage 100. Re-open Sage 100 from the shortcut menu by right-clicking and Run as Administrator and continue on with the rest of the steps outlined below.
- In the Account Number field, type your Sage Customer Number
- Note: This is sometimes an old customer number, which could be between the v and _ in the Serial Number; occasionally the v or _ will also need to be included. The old Vantive Account number can also be found in Fusion, Account Overview, Identification Numbers. Manually key the account number instead of copy and paste if it fails to register.
- In the Serial Number field, enter your full Activation Code.
- Note: This field is case sensitive - verify the first character is a lower case " v " (if applicable)
- Example: vXXXXXXXXXX_G9WCLIG or XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX_X
- Note: This is not the 7-digit Serial Number used for Sage 100 product registration
- If the registration fails, try removing the "v" and try again.
- Click Apply
- Click Perform Registration
