There may be a conflict with 3rd party applications that installed its own Crystal User Function Library (CRUFL) file . It may also be that the 3rd party application was installed with a very old version of Crystal Runtime Engine that causes conflict with the newer Crystal Runtime Engine used by Sage 300 ERP.

We have found Batchmaster, Centurion, ID Automation, Ceridian and Financial Edge are some programs that have caused this problem.

For Batchmaster, the quick workaround is to rename the file, cruflbatchmaster.dll located in c:\Windows\syswow64.

For Centurion, workaround is to rename the file, cruflccs.dll located in c:\Windows\syswow64.

For Ceridian, workaround is to rename all files with names starting with crufl located in c:\Program Files (x86)\Ceridian Canada Ltd\Insync
