| How do I update a Payroll Calculation Rate and Maximum? |
Resolution | - Open 5-3-1 Payroll Calculations
- Locate the payroll calculation that needs to be updated.
- In the Default Rate box type the new rate.
- In the Default Max box type the new maximum.
- Click File, Save.
- Click File, Recall.
- Click Options, Update Employees.
- Choose Update Default Rate and Maximum or Update Maximum Only, Employees with this Calculation.
TIP: Do not update payroll calculations by selecting 5-3-1 Payroll Calculations, Options, Update Default Rate and Maximum, All Employees if the payroll calculation assigns different Rates and Maximums to each employee (for example, 401K deductions) [BCB:154:Chat 100 Contractor US:ECB]
