How do I update a Payroll Calculation Rate and Maximum?

Resolution
  1. Open 5-3-1 Payroll Calculations
  2. Locate the payroll calculation that needs to be updated.
  3. In the Default Rate box type the new rate.
  4. In the Default Max box type the new maximum.
  5. Click File, Save.
  6. Click File, Recall.
  7. Click Options, Update Employees.
  8. Choose Update Default Rate and Maximum or Update Maximum Only, Employees with this Calculation.
 TIP: Do not update payroll calculations by selecting 5-3-1 Payroll Calculations, Options, Update Default Rate and Maximum, All Employees if the payroll calculation assigns different Rates and Maximums to each employee (for example, 401K deductions)
