| Resolution | In Sage Fixed Assets: - Go to: Asset menu, New.
- On the New Asset screen: Enter the asset information normally.
Note: Don't fill in all Book information. Sage recommends you don't add more than the Service Date with a zero Acquisition value in the Tax book of an asset saved as a template. - Once you've filled in the desired information, go to the Asset menu. Select Save As Template, enter a unique value in the New template Name: field. Click Ok to save the Template in the Template Manager.
To apply the Template: - Go to: Asset menu, New.
- On the New Asset screen, click the Template dropdown box. It's Located in the upper Right of the Asset Detail. Select the desired template. Click Yes to apply the Template.
- Edit/Enter the Asset's Book information as needed, click Save when finished to create the new asset.
