| | How do I set up or edit a prefix group for my financial statements? |  
 | Resolution |  To create a new prefix group:- In Financial Statement Designer, from the Tools menu, select Prefix Groups.
 - Enter a unique name for the prefix group in the Prefix group box. Press TAB.
 Note: The Prefix group name pre-fills with the first prefix group, To create a new group, type over the existing Prefix group's name at the top. The original prefix group will still be available from the menu and will not be changed. - Enter a Description for the new prefix group.
- Tip: You can include this field in the header of your financial statement design. You may want to type a detailed description.
 
  - Select the appropriate Type from the list.
- If you select Custom prefix group in the Type list, click Enter Prefixes to enter the appropriate prefixes for the prefix group. Then click OK.
 - Tip: Use the ? button to access Help on the fields in this window.
 
  - Click OK to exit.
 
 When you print financial statements, you can now select the new prefix group. To edit or change an existing prefix group: - In Financial Statement Designer, from Tools, select Prefix Groups.
 - Select the prefix group to change from the Prefix group drop-down list.
 - If you need to change the description, edit the Description box.

  - If you need to change the type, select the appropriate Type from the list.
 - If this is a Custom prefix group and you need to add or remove prefixes, click Enter Prefixes to add or remove the appropriate prefixes for the prefix group. Click OK.
