| | One dollar prints for an account with zero amount on financial statements |
| Cause | Round and carry rounding method prints $1 when the carried amount exceeds the breaking point of 50 cents ($.50). $1 prints for an account when the following items are true: - You selected the Round and carry rounding method on the statement design (Design, Design Options, Rounding tab).
- The actual amount for that line's account and column is zero.
- The carried amount from previous lines in this section of the financial statement is greater than 50 cents.
- The amount can print as either positive or negative.
- The rounding occurs per amount instruction, and the remainder appears on the last account in the Amount Instruction Ranges.
- More than one instruction can have a remainder on the last account.

| Resolution | Accept the printing of $1 or change the rounding settings. Follow these steps to change the settings. - In Financial Statements Designer, open the financial statement design.
- From the Design menu, select Design options, Rounding tab.
- In the Rounding method box, select Round each line or Add then round. If you don’t want the design to round any amounts, change the Rounding level to No rounding.
- Click OK.
- Save the design and close out.
