One dollar prints for an account with zero amount on financial statements
Description
Cause

Round and carry rounding method prints $1 when the carried amount exceeds the breaking point of 50 cents ($.50).

$1 prints for an account when the following items are true:

  • You selected the Round and carry rounding method on the statement design (Design, Design Options, Rounding tab).
  • The actual amount for that line's account and column is zero.
  • The carried amount from previous lines in this section of the financial statement is greater than 50 cents.
  • The amount can print as either positive or negative.
  • The rounding occurs per amount instruction, and the remainder appears on the last account in the Amount Instruction Ranges.
  • More than one instruction can have a remainder on the last account.
Resolution
