| Asset Database limitations |
Resolution | Sage Fixed Assets does not limit the number of companies available, however, each company may have asset limitations depending on the edition. In addition, databases for different editions will have different limitations.- Sage 50 Fixed Assets has a program limitation of 200 assets per company. It is not recommended to go over 10,000 assets per database.
- Sage Fixed Assets - Lite Depreciation and Sage Fixed Assets - Lite Depreciation for Sage 50 have a program limitation of 1,000 assets per company. It is not recommended to go over 10,000 assets per database.
- Sage Fixed Assets - Depreciation - Single User and Network do not have a limit set within the program, but it is not recommended to go over 10,000 assets per database release version 2020.1 and below. From Sage Fixed Assets - Depreciation - Single User and Network 2021.1 It is recommended not to exceed 50,000 assets per database.
- Sage Fixed Assets - Premier Depreciation does not have a limit set within the program.
- Note: If on Sage Fixed Assets Premier 2016.1 and above, you can use SQL Express. It is recommended not to exceed 50,000 assets per company when using SQL Server Express. Performance declines as assets in company increase.
- Note: SQL Express does have a built in limit of a 10 GB maximum database size.
