| Uninstall and reinstall the TS PDF Generator |
Description | When troubleshooting issues with the TS PDF Generator, you may need to remove the TS PDF Generator printer and reinstall it. |
Resolution | [BCB:4:Operating system warning:ECB] Choose an option below. Both options require the use of Windows Administrator privileges. Remove through Windows Settings Uninstall - Close 300CRE.
- Open Windows Settings, Printers & scanners.
- Click TS PDF Generator and choose to Remove device.
- Reboot the computer and make sure that the TS PDF Generator is no longer in the list.
- If it's still in the list, cancel any waiting print jobs and remove the printer again.
Reinstall - Open File Explorer and browse to the \\[SageServerName]\Timberline Office\9.5\ACCOUNTING\WinInst\Prerequisites\PDF Converter folder.
- Right-click RunAmyuniInst.exe and select Run as administrator.
- Open 300CRE and try to print again.
Remove manually Uninstall - Open Printers & scanners, click the TS PDF Generator and select Remove Device.
- Open Windows Explorer and browse to %SystemRoot%\System32\Spool\Drivers\x64\3 and delete all files that begin with ACpdf*, ACFpdf.txt and Cdintf* files.
- Delete these files from any subdirectories as well.
- Delete the amyuni_amyunidocumentconverter* directory if it exists.
- Open C:\Windows\System32 and delete all Cdintf* file.
- Open C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (if it exists) and delete all Cdintf* files.
- Open the C:\Program Files (x86)\Timberline Office\Shared directory and delete all Cdintf* files.
Reinstall - Browse to the \\[SageServerName]\ProgramData\Sage\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting\WinInst\Prerequisites\PDF Converter\ folder.
- Run the RunAmyUnilnst.exe.
- Once the installation is complete, open Windows Settings, Printers & scanners.
- Select TS PDF Generator, Manage, Printer properties.
- Select the Advanced tab and verify you set the following options:
- Always Available
- Priority: 1
- Driver: Amyuni Document Converter 550
- Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster
- Start printing after last page is spooled
- Uncheck Enable Advanced Printing Features if checked
- Select Security tab, select Everyone in the Groups or user names box and ensure you check the Print, Manage Documents, and Manage Printer options.
- Go to Ports tab, and ensure you set the port for TS PDF Generator printer to NUL:.
