How to do a partial transfer

Notes:


  • The Partial Transfer feature is only available in the Sage Fixed Assets Depreciation, Depreciation Network and Premier Depreciation products. 
  • Depreciation must be calculated to the month prior to the transfer date.

In Sage Fixed Assets - Depreciation:

  1. Go to the Asset Detail view, go to Asset on the top bar, Transfer.
  2. Enter the desired Transfer Date, press enter or tab to activate the transfer dialog.
  3. Select to transfer to Current Company or To Another Company:
    • If Current Company is selected, change the entry for the field to Transfer By:
    • If To Another Company is selected, choose the database and company the asset is being transferred to
  4. Under Optional Transfer Parameter section:
    1. In the Partial Transfer?: Select Yes, hit enter or tab.
    2. In partial transfer dialog box select the book to base the Partial Transfer Amount calculation on.
    3. Enter a Partial Transfer Amount.
    4. Click Ok.
