What is the Report Designer module?
The Report Designer is an add-in built into Excel and licensed with Sage 100 Intelligence (SI).
- It gives you flexible report design functionality from raw data in Excel. The BI Tools Tab is added in Excel to use with the Report Designer.
- You can design reports using Drag and Drop functionality.
- It provides "what if" analysis, allowing you to change a set of values and see the impact it has on the rest of your data.
- The Report Designer is currently available for Financial Reports and Consolidated Reports.The Report Designer requires at least Excel 2007.
- Once SI is installed, the Add-Ins and BI Tools tabs will always show in your Excel workbooks but may not be compatible with every SI Report.

What Reports come with the Report Designer add-in?
Two standard reports are included in the Report Designer add-in; one for standard financial reports and one for consolidated financial reports for multiple companies. These reports are located in the Designer folder. These reports are templates you can use when creating your own reports.
- These reports display net changes and balance (YTD) per General Ledger Account number per financial period for the current financial year, previous financial year and current budget year.
- The reports include a predefined drill-down report to drill dynamically to detailed ledger transactions.
- Both Reports have a set of default layouts you can use or modify.

- Minimum Excel 2007 **Note: You must open Excel at least once before installing Sage 100 Intelligence.
