Create a custom report or custom export

  1. Select CM, Transfer, Custom Exports.
  2. Click New and provide a Template Name.
  3. Select the Data Source that matches the type of transactions you’ve cleared. Click Next.
    • For example, if you’re looking for cleared checks, select CM All Checks.
  4. Select the fields you want to include in the export.  Be sure to include the date, amount, and reconciliation date. Click Next.
    • Data sources using ReconDate as the reconciliation date field:
      • CM Bank Charges
      • CM Bank Credits
      • CM Bank Deposits
    • Data sources using ReconcileDate as the reconciliation date field:
      • CM All Checks
      • CM Cash Transactions
      • CM Credit Card Transactions
      • CM Payroll Checks
      • CM Vendor Checks
  5. Click Next. Filter the report so that the reconciliation date is greater than the current reconciliation’s Statement Date.

Identify and unclear the transaction with the incorrect future reconciliation date

  1. Use the export above to determine the future date you cleared the transactions with.
  2. Select CM, Transactions, Reconcile Checking Account.
    • Set the Statement Date and Reconciliation Date to the reconciliation date matching the future date in the export.
  3. Unclear the transaction with the incorrect date.

Perform the reconciliation again

  1. Re-enter the correct Statement Date and correct Reconciliation Date for the current reconciliation.
  2. Clear the transaction again using the proper date.
