The State Tax ID is stored in PR, Taxes, Activate States. Select the appropriate state and press the Enter key or click Save. The cursor defaults to the State Tax Id field. Enter the new ID number.

Note: This is an exclusive option and no other users may be in the program when changing the ID.

To verify your state tax number has been updated for tax reports generated out of Enhanced Tax Reporting:

1. Go to PR, Taxes, Enhanced Tax Reporting and eFiling and select any tax report
2. When the report displays, go to Edit, Company Setup…
3. The Company Information screen will display. Review the information and select Next.
4. Continue to review information and Next until all your edits are finished.
