Printing a Financial Statement for a period in the current or previous year For example, if you are on a calendar fiscal year, in January 2017, you can print statements for as far back as January 2016 (up to 12 periods back). In December 2017, you can print statements for as far back as January 2016 (up to 23 periods back). - From the Reports menu, select Financial Statements.
- Select Statement group or Individual statement.
- In the Rollback box, type the number of periods you want to rollback.
- To print a statement for the current period, select 0 in Rollback.
- To print a statement for a prior period, select the number of periods back in Rollback. For example, to print a statement for the previous period, select 1. To go back two periods, select 2, etc.
- Select the statement design you want to use.
- Click OK.
- If prompted, select the prefix group to use to print the statement and click OK.
- Make any necessary print selections. Click Start or Print Preview as desired.
Printing a Year-to-date Ledger for a prior period in the current or previous year The Year-to-date Ledger can display activity for up to twenty-three prior periods as long as activity for those periods exists (GL Setup, Accounts, Activity tab). Double-exclamation points (!!) will appear on the ledger after the Ending Balances when you choose a date range prior to the twenty-third prior period. - In General Ledger, from the Reports menu, select the Year-to-date Ledger.
- Select the Modify date range check box.
- Click OK to the warning message "Report will process full GL periods only".
- Type the Start date and End date for the period or periods that you want to print.
- Click Start to print your ledger to a file or printer or click Print Preview to review your ledger.
