How to do a Sage BusinessWorks profile install
Description
A Sage BusinessWorks profile install is used to place the necessary Sage BusinessWorks files under a specific Windows user profile. The profile install is used in the following scenarios: 
  •  To setup Sage BusinessWorks for multiple users on one computer
  • To setup Sage BusinessWorks in a remote (Terminal Server) environment
  • To install Sage BusinessWorks as a user that does not have local administrator rights (after the administrator installed the client under their profile)
  • To install the program for a new user on the computer that doesn't have a Sage BusinessWorks icon
Cause
Resolution
  • If the client has not been installed on this computer, log into Windows as an administrator and run the client setup
  • For each additional user on the computer, run BWProfile.exe as follows:
    1. Log into Windows as desired user
    2. From Windows Explorer, browse to the BusinessWorks program folder on the server (i.e. \\[servername]\Sage\BwProg)
    3. Run BWProfile.exe
    4. Follow the wizard to install the Sage BusinessWorks profile setup
    5. If prompted for a user login, enter the Network Administrator user ID and password
    6. Confirm that you can launch and run Sage BusinessWorks
    7. Repeat steps 2-6 for each additional user for that computer that will be using Sage BusinessWorks
