Using the site

You can browse ideas without registering or logging in, but we require registration to submit your own ideas, vote, and collaborate on other ideas.

The sign-up process requires you to confirm your email address using a link you receive in an email. Confirm your account before you can make any submissions to the ideas system, you must confirm your account.

Once confirmed and authorized for a given forum, you can:

• Browse ideas: Browse by tab to view ideas sorted in various ways
• Comment on existing ideas: Submit public comments to inject alternatives, examples or other relevant information
• Submit new ideas: The site requires that you search existing ideas to confirm the idea doesn’t exist to reduce duplication
• Vote: You can vote once for each item; voting for a limited number of items designates your top priorities
• Flag a submission as inappropriate: Product owners review flagged items, and can remove items if they determine they're not appropriate
