Cause
Resolution

Print the Chart of Accounts report in General Ledger as follows:

  1. From the Reports menu, select Lists, Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click Print Preview to preview the report. Click Start to print the report.

This report contains the following fields and other information:

  • Account
  • Account Title
  • Account Type
  • Whether the account stores budget information
  • Whether the account stores debit activity
  • Whether the account is a control account
  • Owners Account
  • Whether the account summarizes the data on the ledger
  • Intercompany Status

Note: This report is useful when you want to verify that the account types for your base accounts and the corresponding full accounts are identical.

TIP: As an alternate solution, you can use Inquiry, Accounts. Then add columns, such as the Account Type, that you want to include in the inquiry. You can then print the inquiry as a report or export it to Excel. Refer to article 20006 DocLink: How do I add or edit a column in an inquiry? and article 22285 DocLink: How do I save an inquiry as an Excel spreadsheet?
