With Sage MyCommunicator, users can:

While MyAssistant issues automatic alerts, generates reports, and distributes documents, MyCommunicator extends that power. You can monitor, assign, and follow up in Sage 300 CRE without leaving Microsoft Outlook.

Possible Uses

  • Vendor compliance: Request, manage, and update all the documents and information you require from subcontractors and material providers. Update information in Sage 300 CRE from within Microsoft Outlook.
  • Lien releases: Generate your company’s job-specific lien waiver format. Send them to vendors for signatures and record them as received in Sage 300 Construction from Outlook.
  • RFIs: Monitor requests for information and log all activity to update Sage 300 CRE from Microsoft Outlook.
  • Change request vendor pricing: Ensure your employees and vendors are aware of updates for change requests entered in Sage 300 CRE.
  • Employee and job checklist: Track tasks in every stage of the project lifecycle by employee and monitor their progress within Microsoft Outlook.

System Requirements

Outlook
MyCommunicator is compatible with the 32-bit versions of Microsoft Outlook 2010, Microsoft Outlook 2013, and Microsoft 365.

Email Server
While MyCommunicator requires the 32-bit version of either Microsoft Outlook 2010, 2013 or Microsoft 365. There are no email server requirements.

Sage
Sage programs and the Sage server must be at least version 13.1 to be compatible with MyCommunicator.

MyAssistant Licenses
Every MyCommunicator user doesn’t need their own MyAssistant license. You only need one MyAssistant Designer license assigned in the company to create Tasks that generate the notifications used in MyCommunicator.

If you’re interested in learning more about MyCommunicator or MyAssistant, contact your Sage business partner or call your customer account manager at 800-858-7095.

Before You Begin
Before starting the installation process for MyCommunicator, make sure that you have your Customer ID number, your MyCommunicator product key.

Activation
After you complete the MyCommunicator installation, the next time you open Microsoft Outlook you’ll receive this message about configuring the software.
